Marium Vahed is in her final year at Trinity College, where she is studying Diaspora and Transnational Studies and Anthropology.  

She is an active participant in the University of Toronto student community, currently serving as President and Founder of the Diaspora and Transnational Studies Union (DTSU). Ms Vahed is also a writer, mental health advocate on campus, and a Mosaic Institute Fellow. Recently, she was honoured as a recipient of the UofT COVID-19 Student Engagement Award.
