Get Involved

Getting involved in governance at the University of Toronto is a great way to contribute to advancing and sustaining the University’s purpose, strength and well-being. Whether you’re new to governance or already familiar with how the University works, it is a meaningful way to make a difference.

As a member of a board, council, or committee you will provide oversight and advice on all aspects of the University, including academic programs, finances, policies, capital projects, and student and campus life. It’s a valuable opportunity to better understand how the University works, develop leadership and collaboration skills, and make meaningful connections with people from across different parts of the University.
