Ms Laura Cocuzzi
Ms Laura Cocuzzi has over 19 years of experience in various leadership positions in public sector procurement, strategic planning and project portfolio management. A value-driven industry thought leader with passion for taking organizations to the next level. Laura's experience within a Provincial Crown Corporation and Regional governments include oversight with a number of program enhancements and operations involving business transformation, supply chain, sustainable programs, technology platforms, capital infrastructure, energy management, public health and human resources. Ms Laura Cocuzzi is the Manager of Procurement Planning and Performance for the Region of Peel. She is one of the current Board Members for Supply Chain Canada, Ontario Institute, in which she supports supply chain professionals and advancement of the profession through education, certification, membership networks and standards of practice.
As a UTM alumna, Ms Cocuzzi continues to contribute to the UTM Community through activities that mentor students in career development. These include participation in the UTM Mentor Program, the Alumni Mentorship Program, networking events through the Department of Management, and Career Centre events. She supports similar roles at Humber College and the Schulich School of Business, along with other Regional Committees that propel various aspects of supply chain management, including sustainable and circular supply and goods movement.
