Jeff Wendling has 30 years of investment management experience and previously served as President and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Healthcare of Ontario Pension Plan (HOOPP) from 2020-2025. Prior to his appointment as CEO, he served as HOOPP’s Executive Vice President and Chief Investment Officer and served more than six years as co-CIO. Mr. Wendling is a proven leader of large and sophisticated management teams. He earned his BA in Economics and his MBA from the University of Toronto and holds the Chartered Financial Analyst designation. Jeff is also a board member of the Canadian Coalition for Good Governance and is the chair of its Public Policy Committee.
