Mr. Daniel Lysak
Mr. Lysak is a PhD student currently studying environmental chemistry. He completed his Honours Bachelor of Science degree in biochemistry at the University of Toronto Scarborough (UTSC). During this time, Mr. Lysak developed leadership and interpersonal skills by working as a Facilitated Study Group (FSG) and discussion session leader for various chemistry courses. Further, he was actively engaged in research during his undergraduate studies, was awarded three research fellowships, and is the winner of a number of prestigious academic awards including the Vincent Bladen Award, Ontario Graduate Scholarship and the Canadian Society for Chemistry Silver Medal. Mr. Lysak was appointed to the UTSC Campus Council in 2019 and is interested in advocating for the rights of graduate students.
