Mr. Ertürk is a fourth-year international, undergraduate student. As a student leader, he has a keen interest in improving the quality of life for students. He has served on boards at student-led organizations including Co-op Students’ Association, Turkish Students’ Association, and Enactus. He has also served on committees at the university such as Council on Student Services, Department of Student Life and International Student Centre Advisory Committee, Enhancement Fund Committee, and Food User Committee. In addition to his Campus Council membership, he was appointed to serve on the Academic Board of the Governing Council from 2019 to 2020.

Throughout his undergraduate career, Mr. Ertürk gained valuable experience in both private and public sector. He worked at Scotiabank as a Solutions Architect where he spent most of his time under Global Banking and Markets. As a serial entrepreneur, he co-founded Roll, an electric scooter and bike share start-up at UofT. Currently, he is working as the Chief Communications Officer, and he is responsible for government relations & strategic partnerships, and expansion strategies
