Peter Landry

Hello! I am a behavioral economist in the Department of Management, coming up on 10 years at UTM. In my research, I incorporate imperfections of human cognition into mathematical models of decision-making. As a teacher, I try my best to be relevant and engaging, while providing opportunities for students to enrich their learning through experiences. In this election, I would be grateful for your support as I believe I would have a lot to offer (and learn!) as a member of the Campus Affairs Committee

Emily Atkinson

As a fairly new faculty member (January 2022), I believe serving on the Campus Affairs committee would give me a better understanding of how the University operates. In addition to this learning experience, I look forward to helping to shape the form that UTM's campus will take in the future and making improvements where possible.

Sheliza Ibrahim

With an interest in campus life for students, faculty and staff I hope to offer insights as someone who was born in Mississauga having learned, worked and lived in this city and the surrounding areas all my life. I am keen to ensure a quality of life for the campus with the broader community and environment in mind. I am growing in my understanding of governance and hope (if appointed) that I learn and contribute to the CAC in a way that establishes just decision making, strong mediation and reflective dialogue and awareness for all those involved.

Melissa Gniadek

I am an Associate Professor in the Department of English and Drama and Associate Director of the Department of English MA program. As my first term on the Campus Affairs Committee comes to an end I am hoping to serve a second term on the Committee. The experience has deepened my understanding of how UTM functions, introduced me to new programs and aspects of the university that I have been able to share with colleagues, and helped me to connect with others beyond my department. I’m eager to continue to serve on the CAC

ADMINISTRATIVE STAFF

“Administrative Staff” means the staff-appointed employees of the University, University College, the Constituent Colleges and the Federated Universities who are not members of the Teaching Staff thereof.
