Haddadkar-Ghavi, Kathy  (Faculty of Music)

2nd-year DMA Choral Conducting student equally passionate about music and university governance. With prior governance experience as Vice-President Academic of the U Alberta Graduate Students’ Association, I feel well-qualified to represent graduate voices in this capacity. While representing 7,500 graduate students in academic matters on 30+ governance committees, I engaged proactively with top university stakeholders. Additionally, I served as chair of several graduate-level caucuses alongside confidential student appeal cases. Immersing myself in this work while completing a master's degree, taught me the art of balance, leadership, and the benefit of governance models towards institutional wellness. Thank you for your consideration.

Kazman, Luke (Faculty of Law)

I'm running for this position driven by a passion for positive change. With experience as a Program Representative during my LLB at City, University of London, I've honed my communication and advocacy skills, successfully bridging the gap between students and faculty. My background in student leadership, which includes serving as the Finance Officer for the Canadian and American Law Society and involvement as an Assembly Member for the City Students’ Council, equips me to champion student interests effectively. I'm committed to fostering a vibrant, inclusive campus community where every voice matters. Together, let's shape a better future for our campus. Thank you for your support.
