Cameron Miranda-Radbord is a fourth-year student specializing in Sexual Diversity Studies, Canadian Studies, and Critical Equity and Solidarity Studies. As a long-serving member of the Victoria University Students’ Administrative Council, Cameron successfully advocated for the provision of free menstrual products in Victoria College buildings, the creation of the campus-wide Gender Affirming Gear program, and the implementation of the successful Eat After Eight food rescue program, which diverted hundreds of meals that would otherwise have been discarded to students in need. Cameron also represented students on the Board of Regents for two years, where he pushed for Victoria College to become the first federated college at the University of Toronto to divest from fossil fuels. Off campus, Cameron coordinated targeted healthcare outreach and COVID-19 vaccination clinics for queer and disabled Torontonians with The 519 and several autism services organizations. He now serves as a Senior Advisor at Toronto City Hall, where he works to deepen connections between local communities and municipal government. Cameron is also a sought-after organizer for political campaigns.
