Make sure your diploma replacement request includes all of the following:
- a completed Replacement Diploma and Delivery order form with an original signature
- the appropriate fee(s) in the form of a Money Order, Bank Draft or Certified Cheque
Please Note: requests which are incomplete will be returned via Canada Post regular mail.
Cost: $150.00 CAD/each diploma - this includes delivery via courier.
Please note that we can only accept cash, money order, bank draft, or certified cheque (not personal).
Prior to completing a Replacement Diploma and Delivery form, please contact the Office of Convocation at 416-978-3629 or email@example.com to verify that your diploma was never claimed.
Once you have verified that your diploma was never claimed, please complete the Replacement Diploma and Delivery form in its entirety before submitting to the Office of Convocation (NOTE: if you do not know your student number, you must provide a date of birth). Please note that faxed or otherwise electronically signed or sent copies of the request form will not be accepted. Your original signature must appear on this form. This form must be received with your payment.

Please note that Office of Convocation will hold diplomas for one calendar year from the date of your convocation. Diplomas not claimed after one calendar year are destroyed for reasons of security and storage. Reminder emails are sent to your University of Toronto email address approximately two months prior to diplomas being destroyed.
Replacement Diplomas will be delivered to you via courier. This is included in the replacement fee.
If you are replacing more than one diploma, you will need to complete one order form per diploma.
The typical processing time for a Replacement Diploma is approximately 4 weeks upon receipt of documentation and payment. During peak Convocation seasons, please allow 6-8 weeks for a Replacement Diploma to be processed. Peak Convocation seasons are early-May until the end of June and mid-October until the end of November.
Outstanding Fees/Financial Hold: must be cleared before replacement diplomas are processed. Please contact your registrar for information regarding your fees/hold
