Make sure your diploma replacement request includes all of the following:
- a completed Request for LLB to JD Conversion order form with an original signature
- your original LLB diploma
- the appropriate fee(s) in the form of a Money Order, Bank Draft or Certified Cheque
Please Note: requests which are incomplete will be returned via Canada Post regular mail.

You must return your original diploma to us along with your completed request forms. If your LL.B. parchment has been lost or destroyed, you must complete a Statutory Declaration to reflect the loss or destruction of your parchment (Please note: the Statutory Declaration must bear the signature of a Notary Public, whose notarial seal should be affixed. If the authority of the Notary is limited in duration or as to territory or purpose, a stamp must be affixed under his or her signature to indicate the limitation)

All Replacement Diplomas are delivered by courier. This cost is included in the replacement fee.
Please make sure to fill out the forms in their entirety before submitting them to the Office of Convocation. Please note that faxed or otherwise electronically signed or sent copies will not be accepted. Your original signature must appear on this form. This form must be received with your payment.
The typical processing time for a Replacement Diploma is approximately 4 weeks upon receipt of documentation and payment.
(During peak Convocation seasons, please allow 6-8 weeks for a Replacement Diploma to be processed. Peak Convocation seasons are early-May until the end of June and mid-October until the end of November.)
Outstanding Fees/Financial Hold: must be cleared before replacement diplomas are processed. Please contact your registrar for information regarding your fees/hold
