UNDERGRADUATE STUDENTS
“Full-Time Undergraduate Student” means a Student registered at the University in a program of full-time study leading to a degree or post-secondary diploma or certificate of the University or in a program designated by the Governing Council as a program of post-secondary study at the University who is not registered in the School of Graduate Studies or the Toronto School of Theology. Full-Time Undergraduate Student status will be determined by the definition used in the Student’s academic division. For the purpose of the Governing Council elections, Students at the University of Toronto Scarborough who are registered in a work term will be considered to be Full-Time Undergraduate Students.
“Part-Time Undergraduate Student” means a Student registered at the University in a program of part-time study leading to a degree or post-secondary diploma or certificate of the University or in a program designated by the Governing Council as a program of post-secondary study at the University who is not registered in the School of Graduate Studies or the Toronto School of Theology. Part-Time Undergraduate Student status will be determined by the definition used in the Student’s academic division.

As a dedicated Computer Science and ICCIT student at UTM, I am passionate about fostering an inclusive and supportive academic environment. With strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills honed through my roles as External VP of Penny Appeal Canada and Director of Events for the Pakistani Punjabi Association, I understand the importance of representing student voices. If elected to the Academic Affairs Committee, I will advocate for academic excellence, student support, and policies that promote both mental well-being and academic success for all UTM students."
Hamza Faiyaz-Ul-Haque
As a passionate advocate for accessibility and academic fairness, I will champion policies that prioritize students' needs. My focus includes extending CR/NCR deadlines, ensuring lecture recordings for all courses, and eliminating mandatory paid software to make education more financially accessible. I will advocate for more pre-medicine courses and programs to support aspiring healthcare professionals, and push for greater transparency in academic policy changes. With experience in leadership roles and a commitment to inclusivity, I aim to represent your voice and drive meaningful improvements to our academic environment. Together, we can create a university that supports and empowers all students."
Linh Khanh Pham
As I take on the honour of being a member of the UTM Academic Affairs Committee, I will do 2 things:
1. Teach to Learn: Develop an internalized peer tutoring system in which knowledge can be dually reinforced.
2. Work to Grow: Advocate for co-op programs that transform academic knowledge into hands-on experience.
