Academic Appeals

Cases where a student is unhappy with their academic work, such as, but not limited to: 

  • Denied an opportunity to rewrite the final exam.
  • Not given an extension on an assignment. 

Academic Discipline

Cases where a student is suspected of cheating in an academic situation.

  • A student was given a letter with "charges" from Professor Heather Boon, Vice-Provost, Faculty & Academic Life.
  • A student was told by an instructor that they believe they may have cheated.

Academic Discipline Appeals

Cases where a student is unhappy with the decision of the University Tribunal.

Non-Academic Discipline

Cases where a student is suspected of committing a non-academic offence, such as, but not limited to:

  • Destroying university property.
  • Being accused of stalking a fellow student.

Cases where a student is unhappy with the decision of the Hearing Officer.
