   THAT the proposed changes to the UTSC academic policy concerning petitions for deferring final examinations, as detailed in the accompanying proposal, be approved, effective September 1, 2025.
5. New Program Proposal: Major in Climate Change Studies (for recommendation)***
   
   Be It Recommended,
   
   THAT the new Major in Climate Change Studies, which will confer the existing HBA degree, in the Department of Physical and Environmental Sciences (DPES), UTSC as described in the attached proposal, be approved effective September 1, 2025.

6. Minor Modifications: Undergraduate Curriculum Changes, Arts and Science Co-op Omnibus Package, UTSC (for approval)*

   THAT the proposed Arts and Science Co-op Office undergraduate curriculum changes for the 2025-26 academic year, as detailed in the respective curriculum report, be approved, effective September 1, 2025.
