Dr. Dina Reiss earned her medical degree at Chicago Medical School and completed her residency in General Internal Medicine at Massachusetts General Hospital, Harvard Medical School. She completed a Fellowship in Endocrinology & Metabolism at the University of Toronto. Dr. Reiss is currently an Assistant Professor in the Division of Endocrinology at the University of Toronto. Dr. Reiss specializes in diabetes, obesity and thyroid disease management and is a clinician teacher in the Department of Medicine. In her role as Hennick Bridgepoint’s Education Lead for the Division of Hospital Medicine, she has expanded the hospital’s educational footprint, creating novel educational rounds (including the inaugural Hennick Bridgepoint Inter-professional Grand Rounds), a joint MD-RN inter-professional educational pilot and has also increased learner volumes. Additionally, she has a passion for teaching and is the ICE (Integrated Clinical Experience) / Clinical Skills Lead Tutor and Site Coordinator at Hennick Bridgepoint Hospital.
