Ennio Alessandro Palombizio is an economist and public policy professional with a focus on tourism, economic development, and labour market analysis. He currently works in the federal public service, where he contributes to evidence-based policy and economic research, with experience supporting national initiatives related to innovation, regional development, and sectoral growth, including tourism.

A graduate of the University of Toronto, Ennio holds an Honours Bachelor of Science from the University of Toronto Mississauga and a Master of Arts in Economics from the University of Toronto. His academic background combines strong quantitative and analytical training with applied economic policy expertise. 

Ennio has over 15 years of experience across government and private sector roles, including work in economic analysis, financial services, and research. His work has focused on understanding economic trends, supporting strategic decision-making, and contributing to policies that strengthen Canada’s economic competitiveness.

In addition to his professional work, Ennio remains actively engaged with the University of Toronto community, including mentorship and governance activities. He is known for his collaborative approach, analytical rigor, and commitment to supporting student development and institutional excellence.
