
Silma H. Roddau
Ms. Roddau is the President and CEO of PCPI a Toronto East not-for-profit business focused organization, that provides employment supports, skills training, and settlement services.
She as spent the past 28 years providing innovative leadership, strategic business development and engaging with the community which contributed to multiple accomplishments for the organization and the community. She possesses a profound understanding of community needs and has consistently demonstrated her ability to secure government funding and corporate sponsorships, effectively addressing various needs within the community and its residents.
During her years of serving the community, she has collaborated with diverse business sectors, various levels of government and departments, community residents and thought leaders, which provided her with the opportunity to contribute to many initiatives and to develop her leadership, business development, relationship building and community engagement expertise.
Ms. Roddau has been providing leadership for the well-known Annual Internationally Educated Professional Conference (IEP Conference) as Chair for the past 16 years. In 2010 she spearheaded the Toronto East, Employment Team (E-Team) network was still running, and which brings together service providers to discuss challenges and explore solutions, share good practices and resources that support the employment service delivery sector.
Ms. Roddau is an active member of the Conference Board of Canada, Toronto Board of Trade, The East Scarborough Storefront steering committee and the University of Toronto, Scarborough Campus, Campus Council and Campus Affairs.
Besides being a U of T alumni, Ms. Roddau holds several professional development Certificates including a Human Services certificate.
