Xing Wei is a second year student in the Finance Specialist program at UTM. In 2017, Xing participated in hosting a University Application Conference which helped students learn more about the information of Canadian universities as well as the application process. As a member of the event staff, she dedicated the 1^st Annual China-Canada Television Festival in February 2019. She has worked at JD.com Inc and IBG Business Development Department as an intern during summer 2019, which provided her with a strong understanding of platform operation. Xing also served on the UTM Students’ Union and the Wechat team in her first year studies in UTM, and would continue to support the work of UTMSU.

Ms Wei was elected to the UTM Campus Council as a full-time undergraduate student for a one-year term, from July 1, 2019 to June 30, 2020.
