Thomas Hofmann is a former RBC executive with experience in financial management, business performance and strategy. In 2007, he left the banking industry and began volunteering in the non-profit sector.

Prior to joining the University’s Governing Council, Thomas served as a co-opted member of the Business Board. He is also currently a board director at Michael Garron Hospital, a former board trustee of CAMH, and former board chair and director of WoodGreen Community Services. Thomas enjoys volunteer tutoring which he has done for many years.

Thomas holds a BSc in biology from Mount Allison University, an MBA in finance from McGill University, and the CPA/CGA and ICD.D (Rotman-ICD Directors Education Program) designations. He has also completed the Sustainable Investment Professional Certification (SIPC) at Concordia University.
