Professor Salvatore M. Spadafora
Salvatore (Sal) Spadafora is Vice Dean, Strategy and Operations in the Temerty Faculty of Medicine. He is a Professor in the Department of Anesthesiology and Pain Medicine, and an anesthesiologist at Mt. Sinai Hospital. Professor Spadafora has distinguished himself as a leader in medical education and is the recipient of numerous education awards, and is highly respected by health care educators and scholars nationally for his high scholarly and ethical standards, exceptional capacity for work, consensus building and common sense approaches to solving difficult problems. He is a Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians of Canada (Anesthesiology).
Professor Spadafora studied at Bishop’s University before earning his MD from the University of Toronto and MHPE from the University of Illinois at Chicago.
