Ramy Elitzur is a Professor of Accounting at the Rotman School of Management. Previously he held the Edward J. Kernaghan Professorship in Financial Analysis. He has served as the Executive Director, MBA Programs and Acting Academic Director of EMBA at Rotman. Professor Elitzur previously taught at the Recanati Graduate School of Business Administration, Tel Aviv University and Stern School of Business Administration, New York University. He earned a Ph.D. and M.Phil. from Stern School of Business Administration, New York University, and an MBA from Recanati School of Business Tel Aviv University. In addition, he holds US CPA and CMA designations. Professor Elitzur has won several teaching awards, including in 2006 the prestigious Dean’s Award for Excellence in Teaching.   Ramy’s research focuses on game theory and machine learning in the context of financial reporting, financial markets, and entrepreneurial finance.
