John Ramdeen is a resident of Scarborough for over 40 years. He retired from IBM Canada in 2017, after a 38-year tenure. Throughout his IBM career, John has held senior leadership positions and has led teams across a broad range of business disciplines, including: Client Experience, Service Delivery, Sales, Finance & Audit, Operations, Strategic Planning and across multiple industries / companies (big & small). John is active in the Scarborough Community, supporting: Rotary, St Joseph’s Parish Highland Creek and local Golf courses. John is currently Treasurer of SCRO (Scarborough Community Renewal Organization) and Committee Member for SWOF (Scarborough Walk of Fame). John earned a Master of Business Administration from University of Toronto, Rotman School of Management. He is a Fellow Chartered Professional Accountant (FCPA, CMA) and he served on Board of Directors of CMA. John enjoys reading biographies, working on DIY home projects and investing in the stock market.
