Your Diploma (Parchment)

COVID-19 and Convocation Services

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, significant restrictions and the closure of the Office of Convocation have impacted services.

Availability of these services will be reviewed on an ongoing basis.

Your diploma is a special scroll of paper embossed with the name, crest and seal of the University of Toronto and the signatures of senior officials of the University. It also includes your name, the date, and your degree.

Prior to Spring 2020: If you have RSVP’d and attend your convocation ceremony, you will receive your diploma at the ceremony. If you do not attend Convocation then you may obtain your diploma in person at the Office of Convocation or make arrangements to have it delivered to you (please see question 10 of our Frequently Asked Questions). Please note that the Office of Convocation is not open for in-person pickups until further notice.

Spring and Fall 2020: Your diploma will be couriered to you at your Permanent Address on ACORN.

The Office of Convocation will hold your diploma for one year following the date of Convocation.
