Your Committee reports that it held a virtual meeting on May 20, 2025 with the following members present:

1. Chair’s Remarks
   
   The Chair welcomed members and guests and thanked them for their attendance.
   
   Approvals by Electronic Ballot
   
   The Chair noted that prior to the Committee’s meeting there had been a need, because of time constraints, to consider an appointment by means of electronic ballot. He read the resolution of April 25, 2025.
   
   YOUR COMMITTEE APPROVED 
   
   THAT Professor Ron Levi be appointed as a member of the Nominating Committee of the University Tribunal and Academic Appeals Committee for a term effective April 25, 2025 to June 30, 2025.
2. Review of the Academic Board Agenda for May 29, 2025
   
   The Committee reviewed and confirmed the agenda for the meeting of the Academic Board scheduled for May 29, 2025.
3. Approval of the Report of the Previous Meeting
   
   Report 314 from the meeting of April 15, 2025 was approved.
4. Business Arising from the Report of the Previous Meeting
   
   There was no business arising from the Report of the Previous Meeting.
5. Date of the Next Meeting – June 4, 2025
   
   The Chair advised members that the Committee would meet next on June 4, 2025 from 2:10 to 3:10 p.m.
6. Other Business
   
   
   There were no items of other business.

7. Appointments: 2025-2026 Nominating Committee for the University Tribunal and the Academic Appeals Committee
   
   
   On a motion duly moved, seconded and carried
   
   YOUR COMMITTEE APPROVED
   
   THAT the following individuals be appointed to the 2025 - 2026 Nominating Committee for the University Tribunal and the Academic Appeals Committee for a term from July 1, 2025 to June 30, 2026.

Professor Jutta Brunnée, Chair and President’s designate*
Professor Ron Levi, teaching staff member of the Academic Board
Mr. Peng Fu, former alumni member of the Academic Board
Ms. Samantha Chang, student and former member of the Academic Board

*Professor Brunnée to be appointed as Chair of the Nominating Committee for the duration of her term as Dean. Please note that Professor Brunnée’s term as Dean concludes December 31, 2025, and effective January 1, 2026, whoever is appointed Dean, will be the President’s Designate and Chair of the Nominating Committee.
