The University of Toronto Act stipulates that two members of the Governing Council shall be elected by the Administrative Staff from among the Administrative Staff.
For the purposes of elections to the Governing Council, Librarians are considered Administrative Staff.
There are two administrative staff seats on the Governing Council.
The term of office for a Administrative Staff member of the Governing Council begins on July 1st in the year in which the member is elected and ends 3 years later on June 30th.
Nominations will be accepted for the following Administrative Staff seats between Tuesday, January 9, 2024 starting 12:00 noon and Thursday, January 18, 2024 by 5:00 P.M.
