Seyedreza (Reza)  Fattahi Massoum is a PhD candidate in Aerospace Science and Engineering at the Institute for Aerospace Studies. He earned both his Bachelor and Master of Science in Aerospace Engineering from the Sharif University of Technology in Tehran, Iran, and was the recipient of the Kenneth M. Molson Fellowship and winner of the Aviation Week Network’s 2020 “20 Twenties’ award which recognizes top students nominated by their universities for academic performance, civic contributions, research, and design projects. Mr. Fattahi has been involved in many groups such as the Faculty of Applied Science & Engineering’s Council, Executive member of the Graduate Engineering Council of Students, President of the Aerospace Students’ Association, and volunteered and served as project supervisor with the Aerial Robotics Club and Unit 1 Steward with CUPE 3902.
