What do Board members need to know about the current landscape?  What role can Boards play in supporting university leaders in driving meaningful change? What are appropriate accountability mechanisms for structural and systemic change?

Panel Discussion - Fostering Inclusive Leadership

What are strategies that universities are deploying to increase representation and foster inclusion from Black, Indigenous, and Racialized Persons in leadership roles within the Academy?  How do Boards assess the effectiveness of these strategies and measure change? How do Boards hold themselves accountable in order to sustain progress at the systemic and structural levels, even with leadership transitions?

Providing effective student mental health support is one of the most pressing challenges facing universities.  What do Boards need to be aware of in terms of university initiatives on student mental health? What are the opportunities for partnerships to help guide and support the delivery of mental health services for students? How should institutions address these issues publicly?
