Unionized Staff
Consult your collective agreement, check with your direct supervisor or manager, or contact your HR Office.
Non-Unionized Staff
Consult applicable policies on the Human Resources & Equity website, such as the Policies for Confidentials, Policies for Professional & Managerial Staff, or Policies for Senior Research Associates and Research Associates (Limited Term), and other human resources policies, to determine whether your concerns are addressed there. Your manager or HR Office can also provide you with information about which policies might apply and what steps you should take. A list of HR Offices and the Divisions and Faculties they represent is available on the "Contact Us" section of the HR & Equity website.
Academic Staff or Librarians (whose concern is related to your employment at the University)
Consult the policies and guidelines section of the Human Resources & Equity website, to determine whether your concerns are addressed by the policies and procedures listed there. These include policies and procedures for full- and part-time academic appointments, full- and part-time librarians, and clinical faculty, as well as the Memorandum of Agreement between the Governing Council and UTFA and other human resources policies as they apply to these categories of appointment. Your Chair or HR Office can also provide you with information about which policies might apply and what steps you should take.
