If your concern relates to a University residence:

In all cases, you should first try to resolve your problem by discussing it with the Dean of Students/Director of Residence.

If the matter is not resolved at that level, your next steps depend on the residence involved.

ST. GEORGE CAMPUS

In the case of the residences without college affiliation (Chestnut Residence, Graduate House, or Student Family Housing) your second step is to take up your concern with the Director of Ancillary Services at 416-978-7830 or ancillary.services@utoronto.ca. If the matter is still not resolved, your third step should be to contact the Office of the Vice-Provost, Students at 416-978-3870 or vp.students@utoronto.ca.

In the case of Innis, New, University, and Woodsworth Colleges, your second step is to take up your concern with the Principal. If the matter is still not resolved, your third step should be to contact the Office of the Vice-Provost, Students at 416-978-3870 or vp.students@utoronto.ca.

In the case of residences at the University of St. Michael’s College or Victoria University, you should contact the Office of the President at the University of St. Michael’s College or the Office of the President at Victoria University. In the case of residences at Trinity College, you should contact the Office of the Provost at Trinity College.

Please note that, although situated within the University of Toronto precinct, the residences at Knox College, Massey College, and Wycliffe College are independent of the University and are not subject to University policies. Therefore, any concerns on the part of U of T students who reside there must be addressed to the administration of that college.

MISSISSAUGA CAMPUS (UTM)
Your second step should be to contact the Assistant Principal, Student Services/Dean of Student Affairs at 905-828-5212. If the matter is still not resolved, your third step should be to contact the Office of the Principal at 905-828-5212 or principal.utm@utoronto.ca.

SCARBOROUGH CAMPUS (UTSC)
Your second step should be to contact the Dean of Student Affairs at 416-287-7674. If the matter is still not resolved, your third stepshould be to contact the Office of the Principal at 416-287-7025 or principal@utsc.utoronto.ca.
