Born in New York and raised in Toronto, Hamza Khan is a multi-award winning marketer, best-selling author, international keynote speaker, accomplished entrepreneur, and top-rated post-secondary instructor. Driven by a desire to empower youth and early talent, Mr. Khan serves as the Managing Director of Student Life Network, Canada’s most comprehensive resource hub dedicated to helping over 2.7 million students (and counting) across the country. His goal is simple: successfully support students’ transition from high school through post-secondary education to their dream jobs. His proven record of success blends experiences from his work in the education and marketing industries. A proud graduate of the University of Toronto Scarborough, Mr. Khan was inspired during his undergraduate studies to help the right students to receive the right messages at the right time. In under two years, Mr. Khan helped establish Ryerson University—a leader in innovative, career-focused education—as a national leader in online student engagement. He then went on to make waves as the co-founder of Splash Effect, a boutique impact-driven digital marketing and creative agency that serves the education, non-profit, government, and healthcare sectors. This put the wind in his sails to co-found SkillsCamp, a soft skills training company that has worked with the likes of LinkedIn, the Bank of Canada, Ubisoft, Accenture, CSIS, and Microsoft. During his storied career, Mr. Khan has worked with leading institutions and forward-thinking brands such as Amazon, Spotify, H&M, Maple Leaf Sports & Entertainment, the Rotman School of Management, PepsiCo Canada, RBC, Hootsuite, and the University of Toronto. He is a top-rated instructor at Seneca College and Ryerson University, teaching courses on marketing and social media.
